Topic: Being Rooted Firmly In Christ Jesus

Grace – the willingness of God to use His power on our behalf.

John 15:16 – You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

3 John 2-4 – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

John 15:8 – By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

“He chose us and appointed us to bear much fruit; lasting fruit.”

“To bear fruit, we need to have a root system.”

Luke 8:11-13 – “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

“The seed is the Word of God.”
